New Bath Arts Club was founded in 2023 by well-known Bath Artist Charles L.W. Minty together with a number of diverse and multi-talented artists.

We know that establishing yourself and gaining recognition for your work can be challenging. New Bath Arts Club is run by a community of artists, for artists, who all share the same creative passion, goals and aspirations.

Every penny from membership goes back into developing and growing the Club and running events and exhibitions.

Join us and you will have the opportunity to connect with other local artists and partners who understand, support and appreciate your creative journey.

We are…

  • Collaborating with other member artists in the club can lead to exciting projects that bring together diverse talents and result in unique artworks. In time we aim to run exhibitions and in these early days, we will provide members with a space on the website to introduce themselves and what they do. We also want to collaborate with business and the public to raise the awareness of art and artists and the wider value to society of art.

  • Bath is a beautiful city and lends itself to artistic flair and imagination. In time we want to be as creative as we can be in how we share our art with others. We hope that through membership and the events we plan to run, you’ll feel encouraged to be creative and further develop your artistic abilities over time.

  • We seek to inspire. If you ever feel stuck or uninspired, we hope that as a member of NBAC, we can help provide fresh ideas, motivation, and encouragement to overcome creative blocks. Connect with like-minded people and receive positive feedback from fellow artists to help grow your confidence in your abilities.

New Bath Arts Club was started in 2023 by Bath based plein air artist Charles L. W. Minty.

After spending years selling his art on the streets of this beautiful Georgian City, in all weathers and all times of year, Charlie found that there was very few opportunities for artists to promote themselves and exhibit their work, so he dreamed of starting his own Art Club, right in the heart of Bath.

NBAC is a community art group dedicated to fostering creativity, providing support, and creating opportunities for artists in the city of Bath, UK area. Our mission is to connect artists, nurture their development, promoting artistic excellence and mentoring artists who seek to commercialise their art as a professional activity.
