Raymond Wirick graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1985 with a degree in Drawing.

This degree was the foundation of his gallery fine art and commercial art careers in both painting and sculpture.

Raymond practices in both Plein air and studio disciplines.

The employment of natural objects like wood/timber allows Raymond a profound dialogue with nature and the human form and allows him to relinquish complete control to the resulting outcome.

He works and resides in Marshfield with his theatre producing wife,2 daughters and a cat.
